As a member of a church, we are called to practice our faith in three ways:

To worship God with our whole heart
To be involved in making disciples for Jesus Christ
To serve God by serving others

Worship
God gave His all for us.  He loves us so much, He sacrificed himself on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.  Out of reverence and thanksgiving to God for His sacrifice, we worship.

Christians are called to worship . . .

At Home:     Whenever we praise God, we are worshipping.  When we pray to God we are worshipping. When we read our bible or devotions, we are worshipping.  As Christians, we should be worshipping God at home daily with our families.

At Church:   In Hebrews 10:24-25 the writer tells us “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

We are called to worship together to help each other; to lift up each other, to learn with each other.

As members of Belle Fourche United Methodist Church, we are dedicated to worshiping together regularly for the purpose of:

Praising God
Meeting with our church family
Praying for one-another
Encouraging one-another

We also realize worship is not about me.

It is solely to be in praise to God and for God alone.

Belong
When we join the church, we become part of the family.  We belong together and we help each other grow into the person God created us to be.  We also help each other through difficulties that life often produces.

As Christians, as members of this Body of Christ, we are committed to growing in our faith by participation in growth opportunities.  To help us through these trying times, we offer several opportunities to grow spiritually, physically and emotionally.
